Currently, higher education has given rise to construction and research in all areas of our world society, which in turn becomes a social group exposed to bringing together cultural and social values ​​and caring for the environment. Currently, the young university student is exposed to a myriad of variables that influence his student training and many of these more than train him cause a series of disorientations that require accompaniment within university life, both from teachers and from other members of the educational community fully convinced of the integrality of the student’s development based on principles, values ​​and resources for the full realization of the mission of higher education.

This reality forces us to deal with the issue of the integral development of the university from the vocation of higher education related to the student as a human being capable of being formed in an integral way.

From this total vision there is the possibility of talking about a common university profile that allows students to live their identity, their significance, their physical development and the social commitment necessary for today’s society.

This vision, in order to become a reality, must be concretely reflected in the institutional development plans, in the administrative and academic structures, in the conformation and updating of the academic and directive bodies, as well as in the publication of the educational policy of higher education.

Without trying to exhaust this abundant subject, some reflections on the subject are proposed in context for the construction of an ideal and common profile of the young university student.
